Murray Dawson

Murray Dawson is a seasoned professional with a rich background in real estate, boasting over three decades of experience in both New Zealand and Australia. His journey began in 1987 when he owned and operated a successful sales and rental business in Sydney. After selling this venture, Murray returned to New Zealand in 2000.  

Settling in Hamilton, Murray took on pivotal roles, including Waikato Sales Manager for the country’s largest rural real estate company and General Manager of a multi-branch Waikato real estate business, overseeing a team of 80+ staff and managing over 1,200 properties. His expertise further extended to being a Sales Manager at Barfoot & Thompson’s largest and most successful office in Pukekohe.  

Murray’s impressive career covers all disciplines of real estate, as well as rent roll sales and acquisition, real estate franchising, and land acquisition for large-scale developments. His deep understanding of the industry is further evidenced by his long-standing status as a Licensed Real Estate Agent (AREINZ) since 2000, and he also held the equivalent license in New South Wales from 1994 to 2009.  

Outside of work, Murray is an avid boater and loves spending time with his family at their lakeside holiday house.
